ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Collegial Seminar sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences at noon today,
Friday, October 14, will feature "The Use of the Computer for Instructional Purposes"
by Professor Gareth Williams. The seminar welcomes all interested persons; bring a
carry-up lunch tray or a brown bag to the Private Dining Room. Coffee and dessert

The Stetson Fall Blood Drive will be held on Monday, October 17, from noon until 6:00
p.m. and on Tuesday, October 18, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Red Cross blood
collection unit will be set up in the Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building.
Please support the Blood Drive by donating blood, by announcing the drive to your
classes, and by encouraging friends and co-workers to donate. The student
coordinators of the blood drive are: Virginia Hall, Delta Delta Delta; Chuck
Raleigh, Phi Sigma Kappa; and Matt Smith, ROTC.

YEARBOOK PICTURES will be taken October 10-14, and 17-20 in the Student Lounge of the
Carlton Union Building. We do not want YOU to be left out of this year's Hatter. No

Ms. Ruth Spencer, Assistant Director of the Student Health Service, retired in
September after 10 years of service with Stetson. We wish her well in her retirement.
We welcome Ms. Linda Palmer, R.N., as our new staff nurse. Linda was a staff nurse at
the University of Mississippi for 12 years. She is a graduate of Southern Mississippi
