ANNOUNCEMENTS
The next meeting of the Stetson Faculty Senate will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Monday,
November 14, in the Private Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building. It will be
preceded by an optional dinner at 6:00 p.m. Those planning to dine should purchase a
meal in the Commons and bring their trays up to the Private Dining Room. Everyone in
the academic community is invited to attend.

ATTENTION ADVISERS: Please remind your students that registration for the Winter Term
and Spring Semester will continue through December 8. If they did not complete their
registration or desire to make changes, they should fill out a new course request
card, have it signed by their adviser, and turn it in at the Registrar's office.

A special Blood Drive will be conducted on campus in response to the automobile
accident that claimed the life of Mark Reed and seriously injured Eric Cavender, both
of whom were students in the School of Music. The Red Cross will set up their mobile
unit in the parking lot next to Presser Hall on Monday, November 14, from 11:00 a.m.
until 4:00 p.m. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to donate blood. (If you
donated blood during the Fall Blood Drive, October 17-18, you are not eligible to give
now. One cannot donate more often than every eight weeks.)

The Annual Career Exposition will be held Wednesday, November 16, in the Stetson Room
of the Carlton Union Building 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Participating will be approximately 25 companies and agencies representing a wide variety of career fields.
Officials from these groups, several of them Stetson alumni, are desiring to talk with
students from all Arts and Sciences and Business Administration majors. Faculty are
asked to encourage students to seek information helpful to them in planning for the
incorporation of their academic program into alternatives for careers.
