DIRECTORS—WINTER TERM OFF-CAMPUS TRIPS. Please submit to the International Office
your itineraries no later than October 13. Please include flight numbers, dates,

OVERHEAD PROJECTION? If you prepare or use overhead projection transparencies, you
will be interested in a short workshop offered by the Instructional Media Center on

The meeting of the Task Force on Leadership Development on October 6 will be an Open
Meeting at 4:00 p.m. in rooms 204/205 CUB. The agenda includes reports from the
subcommittees on Students and Faculty/Staff. Any member of the student body, faculty,
or staff is welcome to attend as an observer and will be given the privilege of the

One of my real joys at Stetson has been the three faculty recitals I have attended.
Paying attention to each other's professional contributions is one way we can learn
from each other and come closer together as an intellectual community.

Stetson University will have a booth in "Taste of DeLand" October 9-10 in the Edmunds
Center. Any department wishing to distribute informational material to the public

The next meeting of the Faculty Senate will be Monday, October 12, at 6:45 p.m. in the
Private Dining Room. All faculty members are invited to attend. If anyone wishes to
join the group for a dinner (costing $3.50) at 6:00 p.m., please make a reservation by
