ANNOUNCEMENTS
Inauguration and Classes (Friday, November 6). The inaugural ceremony will be at 2:30
p.m. Afternoon classes, beginning at 1:30 p.m. will be cancelled. More specific
information about procedures will be forthcoming.

Inventory grade rolls will be sent to all faculty members by Tuesday, October 13.
They are due in the Registrar's Office no later than 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 19.
Please record any "D" or "F" grades, and verify that the rolls are correct by signing
each roll. This is the last chance we will have to insure that grade rolls are

Faculty Meeting—Thursday, October 29, 1987, 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the Davis Hall
Auditorium. Basically the agenda will be a discussion of the work of the Leadership
Task Force. If there are additional items on the agenda, we will announce them in

College of Arts & Sciences Faculty: Please put on your calendar November 9, 4:00 p.m.
for a College meeting. The purpose of the meeting is mainly to provide the
opportunity for faculty to review actions of the Curriculum Committee (undergraduate
curriculum) and the Graduate Studies Committee. This is pursuant to the policy
provisions allowing faculty to review and to reverse or revise decisions made by these

The Stetson Jazz Ensemble under the direction of David Schmidt, will perform its first
concert of the year in the Edmunds Center on Saturday, October 24, at 8:00 p.m. The
band will perform a wide variety of selections ranging from jazz standards by Count
Basie and Hoagy Carmichael to contemporary charts by Les Hooper and Paul Baker. Come
