ANNOUNCEMENTS
SUMMER GRANT APPLICATIONS will be available in the Provost's office and
Deans' offices on Friday, October 24. An informational workshop on
sabbatical and summer grant application procedures will be held on
Wednesday, October 29, at 3:00 p.m. in rooms 204/205 of the Carlton
Union Building.

PLEASE ANNOUNCE TO YOUR CLASSES: Mathematics Achievement Tests for
MS101 (College Algebra) and MS102 (Trigonometry) will be given in room
205 Elizabeth Hall on Tuesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m. Credit for
these courses may be obtained on passing the tests.

The Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Selection Committee is seeking nominations of
outstanding alumni for membership in the Stetson Chapter. According to
the criteria for nomination: "The nominee shall have made contributions in the fields of humane sciences and letters or produced works of
pure literature and given clear evidence of the possession of distinguished scholarly capacities." In addition, the nominee must have graduated from Stetson ten or more years prior to the present academic
year. Please send your nominations (with addresses and other information as available to you) to Jim DeLap, Box 8277. We will contact
