The Annual Fall Awards Ceremony for cadets of the Reserve Officers
Training Corps will be held on Monday, November 25, at 3:45 p.m. in
the Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building. All faculty, staff,

Development Committee. Enrollment is limited so there will be two
separate sessions: Mondays at 3:00 p.m. or Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m.

ATTENTION FACULTY: If you plan to use any films during the Winter
Term, now is the time to call the Audio-Visual Department for an order

The second meeting of the collegial seminars sponsored by the College
of Arts and Sciences will happen on Friday, November 22, at noon in
the Private Dining Room. The presentation will be made by Dr. Richard
Wood of the Department of Economics, based on his research conducted
while he held a Summer Faculty Research Grant. Abstracts of his
paper, "Literacy and Basic Needs Satisfaction in Mexico," are
available in the Office of the Dean of the College. The Designated
Reactor will be Dr. John Schorr of the Department of Sociology. All
members of the University's staff and faculty are encouraged to bring
their lunch and participate in the discussion.
