President's Reception
for New Faculty
President's Home
Deborah Miller has accepted the position of Administrative
Assistant at the DeLand Chamber of Commerce and will be leaving
Stetson University on September 26. Among the outstanding
contributions she has made as Executive Secretary to the Provost is
the publishing of This Week, the faculty bulletin. We shall all miss
the efficiency, the dedication, and the concern for others that
Deborah brought to her position. We shall miss especially the quick
smile and the friendliness which we always found in her office. Our
only consolation is that her new office will be nearby, and she will
continue to be involved in the life and work of the University. In
addition to expressing our appreciation for her many contributions, we
take this opportunity to wish her well in her new position.
As we bid Deborah adieu, we welcome Maggie Dobson as the new
Executive Secretary to the Provost and as the new editor of This Week.
Maggie has already established an outstanding record as a staff member
at Stetson, and we are very fortunate to have her accept this new
responsibility.
