ANNOUNCEMENTS
Student, Faculty and Staff Basketball Policy: On the day of a game,
between 8:30 a.m. and 12 noon, students, faculty and staff members may
present their activity cards (I.D.) at the ticket office in Edmunds
Center and receive a reserved chairback seat for each activity card presented. In the event of a sellout or potential sellout, faculty and
staff will be requested to sit in the general admission bleacher section
of the east stands. If students, faculty or staff members should desire
to avoid the inconvenience of obtaining tickets on the day of a game and
also be guaranteed reserved tickets, season tickets can be purchased for
half price ($32.50). Tickets purchased at half price can only be used
by holders of activity cards and positive identification will be required
Those who would like to purchase season tickets should call ext. 534.

Reminder: Due to the limited storage space available in the Personnel
Office, we will be purging the files of all individual insurance information dated prior to October 1983. This information is on permanent
record with the insurance company and is not necessary for our files.
You are welcome to the copy of your records which we have on file if
you make arrangements to pick it up before November 15, 1984. After that
date, all insurance files dated prior to October 1983 will be shredded.

The School of Music wishes to announce a Special Event to take place
Friday evening, November 9, at 8 p.m. in Elizabeth Hall. Jazz Trumpeter
Don Cherry, currently Artist-in-Residence at the Atlantic Center for
the Arts, will give a lecture/concert in association with four other area
musicians. Cherry has traveled and performed all over the world and
plays a variety of exotic instruments, including an African guitar and
oriental bamboo flutes. His unique ability to mix classical, non-western
and jazz idioms makes him one of the most original and interesting
figures in the world of jazz. Admission is free.
