ANNOUNCEMENTS
There will be a meeting of the Faculty of the College of Liberal Arts
on Monday, September 19, 1983, at 4:00 p.m. in Room 5L of the Library.
The meeting is for the purpose of hearing a report from the Committee
charged with the responsibility of searching for a Dean for the College

Purchasing Procedures
The purchasing of ALL materials and services at Stetson University
must be done ONLY with an official purchase order issued by the
University purchasing agent prior to the purchase. Anyone who orders
any materials or services without an official purchase order secured
in advance will be expected to pay for the order personally. This includes everything that costs money including typewriter and computer

White House Fellowship Applications
Applications for the prestigious White House Fellowships must be
submitted no later than December 1, 1983. Fellows serve with pay
(up to $51,789) as special assistants to Cabinet Officers, the
Vice President, or senior White House staff. They also take part
in an extensive education program exposing them to all sectors of the
national government. Application materials and additional materials
can be obtained from the President's Commission on White House Fellowships, 712 Jackson Place, Washington, D.C. 20503. Requests for applications must be postmarked no later than November 15, 1983.
