ANNOUNCEMENTS
Registration for the Winter and Spring Terms will be held between 1 and
8 p.m. on November 7th and 8th, and between 1 and 6:30 p.m. on November 9th
on the ground floor of Flagler Hall. To accommodate the registration
period, the Registrar's Office will be open from 11 to 8 p.m. on the 7th
and 8th and from 11 to 6:30 p.m. on the 9th. From: The Registrar
Faculty Advisers: Please note the existence of an additional Spring
course offering in the Humanities Department. Dr. Carter Colwell will
be teaching HUM 397 - Greek Classicism on TTH at 10:50 in 5L.

The Faculty Senate will meet in the private dining room of the Carlton
Union Building on Tuesday, November 6th. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m. with
the meeting to follow at 6:45 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $3.00 per
person and those who wish to eat should make a reservation by calling
extension 210 by noon on Monday. Executive Vice President H. Douglas
Lee will be the special guest of the Senate. He will talk about Stetson's
purchase of the radio station and the proposed School of Communications.

Faculty are reminded that applications for sabbatical leaves are due in
the Dean's offices by November 23, 1984. Also, you are reminded that
application forms for summer grants may be obtained from the Deans, the
Provost, or Jim Beasley (Box 8352, ext. 545). Summer grant applications
