TO ORGANIZATION SPONSORS, ADVISORS, AND SPECIAL PROGRAM ADMINISTRATORS
A recent inquiry and circumstance suggests the appropriateness of a
reminder, particularly to any staff who may assist student organizations or be responsible for nonbudgeted programs. University policy
states in paragraph 11.2.1:
"The Board of Trustees of Stetson University (or
its Executive Committee) shall from time to time, upon
recommendation from the Administration establish University
bank accounts as may be required. No University funds
shall be deposited in accounts other than those formally
authorized under this procedure."
The Comptroller of this office will be glad to assist in defining
University funds. From: H. Graves Edmondson
