Last day to drop course without
academic penalty
ANNOUNCEMENTS
President Duncan has authorized the release of one-half of the capital
equipment money. Consideration will be given to the disposition of
the other half after registration for the spring semester. All budget
administrators should note carefully that purchases with these funds
must be according to the priorities which were set in the budget process. Requests for changes in the priority list should be forwarded
through the normal administrative channels and must contain the recommendations of the heads of the administrative units and must be forwarded along with the justifications to the Office of the Provost.

Offices using certified mail with a return receipt are reminded to indicate the office name in the return address. The campus post office
cannot return the receipt to the proper office if the return card is
addressed Stetson University, 421 North Woodland Boulevard, DeLand,

All requests for non-routine service (special events, equipment moving,
construction) for any area of Physical Plant - Operations & Maintenance,
Grounds, Housekeeping - should be made in writing and addressed to
Charles R. Johnson, Director of Physical Plant. Events scheduled on
the University Calendar and published in This Week will be furnished
routine service (heating, air conditioning^ Housekeeping), but
special services must be requested as outlined above.

UPS will begin overnight express service from our Campus Post Office
to all areas of the continental United States on October 3. Check
with Ron Morris, our Postmaster, for schedules and rates.
