Office by 9:00 a.m. Monday, December 19. Please hand deliver these
rolls if at all possible to ensure that any problems can be corrected

The Search and Screen Committee for the position of Dean of the College
of Liberal Arts continues to encourage any input regarding the sixteen
semi-finalists for the position of Dean. On December 19 the Committee
will be making the final selection of the three to five candidates
who will be invited to the campus for interviews. As soon after that
as possible we will be placing interview schedules in your boxes.
Interviews will take place during the first three weeks of the mini-

Faculty members are reminded to respond to the survey of the Academic
Affairs Committee indicating all common bodies of knowledge, experien-
aces, attitudes, or values that should be a part of the curriculum for
all students at Stetson University. Responses should be submitted as
soon as possible but not later than January 16 to Dr. Charles McKnight,

Professors should begin to identify deserving students who meet the
criteria for ROTC Scholarships at once. Applications are now being
taken for the full 2-(mid-year sophomores) and 3-(mid-year freshmen) year
scholarships. Criteria: to apply is 2.0 GPA. Stetson students have
had great success in winning these scholarships. The candidate will
be interviewed by a board of professors of the University and officers
of the Military Science Department and given an opportunity to demonstrate an acceptable level of physical fitness. Professors who identif
