The forensics team will travel to Montevallo, Alabama for a tournament
the weekend of November 11 - 13. The squad departed Thursday at noon
and will return Sunday morning. Attending will be: Mark Kapusta,
Kirk Boutwell, Stephen Lott, Craig Putnal, Eric Reyes, Marcie Groover,
Susan Dye, Frances Carlson, Jodi Littlestone, Jenni Paquette, and
Susan Sparks.

Singer Carol Ann Edwards will join the STETSON JAZZ ENSEMBLE on
Friday, November 12 at 8 pm in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium for an
evening of Big Band and small group jazz. A Stetson senior majoring
in Voice Performance, Miss Edwards will interpret songs by Cole Porter,
Duke Ellington, Thelonius Monk and Thad Jones. The overall theme for
the concert is: great jazz hits of the last 30 years. Arrangements
from the books of Count Basie, Woody Herman, and Rob McConnell
will be featured, and composers represented range from Antonio Carlos
Jobin to Chick Corea. All Stetson faculty, staff and students are
cordially invited to attend this first concert of the year by the
JAZZ ENSEMBLE and the Stetson debut of its new director, Professor
Timothy Maloney.

On Tuesday, November 16, 1982, the Microbiology class will travel
to Orlando to visit the State of Florida's Regional Health Lab and
the Orange County Pollution Control Board's laboratories. The
students participating are Shannon Ajluni, Betty Beck, Catherine
Beebe, Karen Carlton, Joel Kent, Edward Kertis, Kathy King, Lorily
