Thanksgiving Holiday
Please note that the University will observe its usual Thanksgiving
holidays on Thursday and Friday, November 25 and 26. The Christmas
holidays will be on Thursday and Friday, December 23 and 24. New
Year's Day will be observed on Friday, December 31. Administrative
and academic offices will be closed for these holidays.

The College of Liberal Arts Faculty Meeting will be held on Thursday,
December 2, 1982, at 7:00 p.m., in the Davis Hall Auditorium.

The Stetson Society for a Nuclear Free2e will meet at 7:30 p.m. in
Room 202 CUB on November 23. Reports on past work and plans for
future projects will be discussed. Open discussion on the issues
of nuclear war will be encouraged. If you care about the good
earth, come and join us in trying to preserve it.

The Gillespie Museum of Minerals will have a formal opening today
at its new campus location. Faculty and staff are invited to the
ribbon cutting ceremony and viewing of the museum at 3:30 p.m.
November 19th. A public open house will follow the ceremonies.
The museum will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday when the University is in session. Groups of 10-25 persons
may arrange for free guided tours. For more information about
museum tours, call 734-4121, ext. 603.
