During the Centennial year (September 8, 1982-November 5, 1982) Centennial events
shall have priority over other University events in the use of campus facilities.
No University event or program may be scheduled in conflict with designated Centennial events. Schedule conflicts with other Centennial events should be avoided.
The President's Cabinet has final decision making authority in resolving any issues
in conflict with the policy above.
A copy of the Centennial calendar may be requested from Linda Parson, Campus Box
1279. All University events must still be registered with Jean Collins for the
University calendar.
CAMPUS MAIL PICK UP SCHEDULE CHANGES: Due to the increased volume of mail in the
Orlando area, U.S. post service is scheduling its principal mail truck departures
from DeLand one-half hour earlier in the afternoons. This means that the campus mail
run will have to start earlier also. Effective August 2, 1982, the campus mail
pick-up run will begin at 1:30. It will be conducted in the same order as before,
approximately 30 minutes earlier at each point.
U.S. mail taken to the Stetson post office after the campus mail pick-up run will
be dispatched to the DeLand post office at 3:30 for shipment to Orlando on a later
truck.
