ANNOUNCEMENTS
Please note that the University will observe its usual Thanksgiving
holidays on Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25. The Christmas
holidays will be on Friday, December 23, and Monday, December 26.
New Year's Day will be observed on Monday, January 2. Administrative
and academic offices will be closed for these holidays.

Spurious telephone solicitation is again on the upswing. Persons representing themselves as friends of University Trustees or Administrators are offering to sell inferior office supplies, or ship and bill
supplies without prior authorization. These persons represent themselves as working for some fictitious company or are liquidating an
office supply business of a friend or relative who has passed away.
Please refer all such calls to Everette Johnson, Director of Business
Affairs and Purchasing, extension 590.
