Last day to drop course without
academic penalty

in Davis Hall. Please mark your calendars.
Due to an unexpected increase in the number of outpatients being seen in the Health
Service, the blood pressure screening program being done on Wednesdays at different
campus buildings has been temporarily suspended. The blood pressure checks being done
at the Health Service facility (North wing of Chaudoin) on Thursdays will continue
but the hours for this will be changed to 10 - 11 a.m. We encourage you to have your
blood pressure checked periodically at the Health Service because we have found several
cases of possible high blood pressure in the 2 weeks we have been going out on campus
for this program.
The flu vaccine is now available in the Health Service for anyone (staff or faculty)
wishing to receive it. Remember it takes 6 weeks for the shot to be effective after
receiving the vaccine. So plan to get your flu shot during the first 2 weeks of October.
On September 15 Mr. Donald Musser lectured at a "Clergy Day" at Patrick Air Force Base
on the topics "The Problem of Religious Narcissism" and "The Religious Landscape Today."
Thirty clergy from Brevard County attended.
STUDENT, FACULTY AND STAFF BASKETBALL TICKET POLICY
On the day of a game, student, faculty and staff members may present their activity
cards at the Box Office of the Activities Center and receive a reserved chairback seat
for each activity card presented. In the event of a sellout or potential sellout,
faculty and staff will be requested to sit in the general admission bleacher section of
the East stands.
If the student, faculty and staff members should desire to avoid the inconvenience
of obtaining tickets on the day of a game and also be guaranteed reserved seats for the
season, they may purchase season reserved tickets for half price, ($25.00) in a section
designated for students, faculty and staff seating.
Tickets purchased at half price can only be used by holders of activity cards and
positive identification will be required. Those who would like to purchase season
tickets should call Walt Cunningham at EXT: 534. Hours for obtaining free reserved
tickets on game days are 10:00 to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
