THIS WEEK is published each Friday. All items for the Bulletin should be sent to Mrs. Martha Hale, Box 1358, no later than
noon on Thursday of each week.
The first general meeting of the faculty of the University for the
academic year, 1980-81, will be held on Monday, September 1, at 9:00 a.m.
in Davis Hall. Registration will be on Monday and Tuesday, September 1
and 2.
The opening Convocation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, at
9:00 a.m. in the Forest of Arden. Faculty are expected to participate in
the academic processional unless officially excused. Classes will begin
at 10:00 a.m. on a modified schedule.

There will be an orientation lecture on the use of the new academic
computer on Thursday, August 7, at 4:00 p.m. in 322 Elizabeth Hall. Topics
will include the sign-on procedure, basic program implementation, directory
structure, and operating system commands. (This is a repeat of the July 11
session.)
The Stetson University Credit Union will be closed from August 11 through
August 29, and will open again on September 2. In case of emergency,
contact Mrs. Lucy Gary at ext. 485.
The Print Shop will be closed for vacation the weeks of August 11 and
August 18. They will reopen August 25.

They and their three sons Friedrich, Albrecht, and Konrad will be at 818
