Faculty are reminded that academic advising for Winter Term and Spring Semester 1982
takes place Monday - Friday, November 9-13 in their offices. Pre-registration is
Tuesday - Thursday, November 17-19 in Flagler Hall 2:00-8:00 p.m. Faculty will
receive, in the department offices Friday, November 6, the following: student
registration appointment cards for advisees, appointment sign-up sheets, course
booklets for Winter Term and for Spring Semester. Students will receive, in their
campus boxes by November 6, a copy of their checksheet as well as instructions
regarding advising and pre-registration.
Reminder! The University Forum overnight "retreat" will be held at Camp Joy,
approximately 9 miles from campus, on November 13 & 14.
Just a reminder: Should any employee be involved in any type of accident while at
work, it is mandatory that the employee immediately report the accident to his/her
immediate supervisor and the personnel office. The supervisor is responsible for
submitting an industrial accident report to the personnel office within 48 hours
after the accident. It is up to you to avoid and to help prevent accidents.
Theta Alpha Phi will be presenting a "Haunted House" at Stover Theatre on Saturday,
October 31st. This will be a full production with makeup, costumes and sound and
lighting special effects. Lots of fun and fright for everyone, young, old, and in
between (Recommended age: 8 years and up). The cost is 25C per person and the
"Haunted House" will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Advance tickets may be purchased from any Theta Alpha Phi member, otherwise, tickets
may be purchased at the door. COME IF YOU DARE! For more information call ext. 521

Martha Scott recently attended The Florida Association for Media In Education statewide convention which was held in Daytona Beach. She was also a committee member
for one of the local arrangement's committees and assisted with convention sessions
and the convention budget.,
