FINAL EXAM WEEK
Reminder! It is a long established University policy that students who have three
examinations on the same day may obtain relief by having an examination rescheduled.
A student who desires such a change should consult his school dean.

All film orders for the Spring Semester must be placed with Martha Scott no later
than December 14, 1981.
The Audiovisual Department will be closed December 18, 1981 to January 4, 1982. No
equipment will be checked out during this time. If you need equipment during this
time, you must make arrangements with Martha Scott before December 18, 1981.
Reminder! The University will observe the Christmas holidays on Thursday and Friday,
December 24 and 25. New Year's Day will be observed on Friday, January 1. Administrative and academic offices will be closed for these holidays.

Because of vandalism in the Faculty Lounge it has become necessary to lock the
lounge from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. Security guards have been instructed to admit
members of the faculty and administration as well as alumni during these hours.
Persons scheduling events in the lounge are reminded that it will be necessary to
open the lounge before the event and to lock it afterwards. Your cooperation is
requested.
The Faculty Senate announces a meeting of special importance to all faculty members.
On Tuesday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge of the CUB, the Senate
will meet in special session to consider a draft of proposed changes in the University's policies on faculty tenure and promotion. All interested faculty members
are encouraged to attend this important meeting. Copies of the proposed policies
will be available at this meeting or may be obtained in advance from Senate Chairman Bryan Gillespie.
Grant and research information is currently available on the Florida Endowment for
the Humanities, Project Quill, and NASA (Kennedy Space Center). Interested faculty
should contact Dean Strickland at extension 466.
