NEEDED: Faculty, Staff, and Townsfolk to lead non-credit courses and sessions in
leisure time activities during the Winter Term. Because these Self-Enrichment Activities carry no credit they can be more innovative than ever; you can meet the
students as often or as seldom as you wish, you don't have to take roll or give grades,
and you can enrich your own life by learning or teaching others a special interest, a
talent, or a hobby. Please call Ann Morris to get more information or to suggest an

Michael W. Raymond read his paper "The American Culture in the Viet Nam War: From
Mimesis to Metafiction in Going After Cacciato" at the joint meeting of the American
Culture Association and Popular Culture Association in the South at Winston-Salem,
October 16-18.
Basketball practice will be this Sunday (October 26) at 2:45 p.m. in the Edmunds Center
for all those interested in a faculty-staff team to compete in intramurals. For details

The Stetson University Artists and Lecturers Committee will present former (1964-65)
Stetson Professor of Art Robert Ebendorf, nationally known jeweler and metalsmith,
in a slide lecture at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, in the Sampson Gallery of Art.
Mr. Ebendorf is past president of the Society of North American Goldsmiths and is
currently Professor of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz. He was
very active in the Florida Craftsman and organized a state-wide exhibition held at
Stetson in December of 1965. This past February, Ebendorfs work was featured in a
show at Florence Duhl Gallery in New York, and he was the subject of an article in
American Craft, June 1980 issue. He is considered by some to be "crafts avant garde"
and brings significant new styles of function and decoration in jewelry.
A DITTO MACHINE!! Yes the Stetson Union Board is in desperate need of a good working

department has a machine to sell or donate.
