Several weeks ago staff members who are supervisors of other staff and employees received
detailed instructions regarding the legal requirement that formal accident reports be
completed and submitted to the State of Florida for any job related injuries. Please
keep in mind that these procedures also would apply to any student workers under College
Work Study, University, cash labor, and work grant. Thank you for your response to these

The first "Wednesday luncheon" will be at noon on September 12 in the Private Dining Room,
C.U.B. Price: $1.75, reservation required. Call the Counseling Center (Ext. 215) for reservations. This is a popular forum for faculty and professional staff members who share
an interest in counseling/advising/teaching students and who enjoy this weekly time with
their colleagues.
I.D. cards will be made for Faculty/Staff members/dependents on the following dates:

The I.D. card is free to all Faculty and Staff with a $5.00 charge for the first card for
dependents and no additional charge for other dependents.
Faculty members who may wish to contribute to the Faculty Memorial Fund may still do so by
sending or carrying your contribution to either Joel Wright, Box 1388, or James Beasley,
Box 1352.
Dr. John K. Schorr of the Department of Sociology is serving as a consultant to the Behavioral Task Force of the Presidential Commission investigating the Three Mile Island
nuclear incident.
EMPLOYEE GROUP INSURANCE PROGRAMS: September 1 - 15 is the yearly designated period for
transfer between the employee health insurance program groups. Any desired change should
be promptly registered with Mrs. Betty Wilkins, Payroll Clerk, Ext. 365.

Dr. Brad Crain, Department of English, has been invited to participate in the program of
the Southeastern American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies scheduled to meet in
Biloxi, Miss., Feb. 28-Mar. 1, 1980. Dr. Crain will read a paper titled "By a Nice
Chymistry": Johnson, Reynolds, and the Emerging "Romantick" Imagination.
