An article by Betty Thorne,School of Business, "Can Journal Acceptance Rates be Used
as a Measure of Faculty Research Performance" has been accepted for presentation at
the 12th Annual Meeting of the American Institute for Decision Sciences, to be held
November 5-7, 1980 in Las Vegas. This article will also appear in the Proceedings
of the meeting.
Dean David Nylen of the School of Business Administration was a guest speaker at
Bethune Cookman College on October 9. Dean Nylen spoke to a group of marketing students
and faculty on "Marketing in the '80's—Back to Basics."
Internationally known operatic tenor Gary Glaze will present a recital entitled
"Vienna-City of Dreams" on Wednesday, October 15, 1980, 8:00 P.M. Elizabeth Hall.
