The Catalog and the Student Handbook give different dates as to when the Winter
Term classes begin. The Ca'talog is correct. Classes begin on Monday,
January 8.
Monday and Tuesday, October 2 and 3, are Stetson Blood Drive days for the
fall term. The Red Cross is providing full staff and facilities in the
Stetson Room on Monday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. The student co-chairmen are Kim Gardner and Karen Mclntyre. Many
families in our University community have benefitted from this Blood Bank,
and we need your support — your blood, if possible — for the success of
this drive. /s/ George W. Hood
