Reminder to Faculty: Printed slips for admitting students to closed classes
are available to FACULTY in the Registrar's Office but are not available to
students. The only procedure recognized for admission to a closed class is
by a PRINTED SLIP signed by the authorized person.
Please make the following changes in the telephone directory. The extension
for JK Jarvis-Hughey is now 601 instead of 339; the extension for Dorie
Rockefeller is 602. Fred Cooper can be reached at 340 instead of 327.
Dr. Jean David, School of Business Administration, recently attended a
State-of-the-Arts Seminar on Multivariate Analysis, sponsored by the Institute
for Professional Education, Arlington, Virginia, which gave her a scholarship towards registration. Leader of the Seminar was Professor Sir Maurice
Kendall, President of the World Fertility Survey and author of The Advanced
Theory of Statistics (with Professor Alan Stuart, University of London).
