AAUP meeting in the Faculty Lounge at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, November 14, to plan action in response to the recently distributed information concerning Stetson faculty salaries. On November 5, Mr. Gary Libby presented a paper entitled "Artistic Tastes in Pre-Castro
Cuba" at the Southeastern College Art Association meeting held in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Libby will be presenting this same illustrated lecture on Tuesday, November 16,
at 7:30 p.m. in Sampson Hall Art Gallery - faculty and students are invited.

Professor Gunter H. Meyer of the Mathematics Department, Georgia Tech., will be visiting
our campus on Thursday, November 18. He will talk on "Modeling the Melting of Ice" in
room 205, Elizabeth Hall at 11:00 a.m. Professor Meyer is interested in the applications
of mathematics, and is an internationally recognized expert in applied mathematics. There
will be an opportunity to discuss with him the role of mathematics relative to other fields.

REMINDER: There will be a meeting of the. General Faculty on Tuesday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been made with Southern Bell to make an explanatory presentation of our
new "dimension" telephone switchboard. This will be immediately following the faculty
meeting on Tuesday evening, November 23. Their presentation will be set up in a classroom in Davis Hall. The presentation will be approximately 45 minutes in length. It
would probably increase attendance if you could make advance announcement of this program.

There will not be a "Stetson Town Meeting" on Wednesday, November 17th. The next "Stetson
Town Meeting" will be Wednesday, November 24th at 10:30 a.m. in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium
