The next regular meeting of the Faculty Senate will be held in the Faculty Lounge (CUB)
at 6:45 P.M., Tuesday, November 1. All Faculty are invited to this meeting.
Mr. Paul Jarvis will be on campus November 3 from 1-5 P.M., Room 202 CUB to discuss
the Cancer Intensive Care Insurance Policy options. These policies are relatively inexpensive and deal with some very high cost medical areas; thus, it may be well worth your time
to stop by.
Dr. Michael W. Raymond of the English Department will read his paper "Teaching Writing:
Is Opportunity Spelled with an 'F'?" at South Atlantic Modern Language Association conven-
tion in Washington, D. C. , November 3-5.
Please submit Spring Semester film orders as soon as possible.
For your holiday planning: The Christmas holidays will be observed on Friday, December
23 and Monday, December 26, 1977. The New Year's holiday will be observed on Monday,
January 2, 1978. Please note this carefully on your personal and business calendars.
