The University will observe the following holiday schedule:
Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28
Christmas: Afternoon, Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday
and Friday, December 25 and 26
New Year's: Thursday, January 1 (New Year's Day)
The University is pleased that it is possible to schedule this somewhat expanded holiday
program, but it should be carefully noted that this is not to be considered a precedent.

The fall semester Grade Inventory will be Monday, October 27th.
Professor Ronald Baugh recently taught a credit workshop course for the Florida Speech
Communications Association on Developing Coaching Techniques in High School Forensics.
Payroll functions are now located in the Comptroller's Office. Ms. Betty Wilkins can
still be reached on extension 323; enter the middle door to the Comptroller's Office
which is marked "General Ledger and Accounts Payable. "
Housekeeping Department: Mrs. Frances Hann is retiring after 17 1/2 years of service.
Mrs. Ann Lindsay is now in charge of this department. Mrs. Hann will be working
part-time in the department.
