Green Feather faculty and staff contributions for 1973 were down from last year by approximately
40%. Inasmuch as the average cash or pledged donation this year is about the saine as last year,
it appears that the shortfall of over $1200.00 is perhaps the result of mere procrastination on the
part of some who have not yet turned in an indication of their contribution. It is still possible to
mail to Box 1344 either your cash donation or a memo requesting payroll deductions over the next
seven (7) pay periods. /s/ Mr. Paul Steeves
Dr. Anthony Jusick was a panelist in a workshop dealing with unusual honors courses in the
natural sciences at the National Honors Council meeting in Williamsburg, Virginia,
The Military Science Department is sponsoring a joint Field Training Exercise with Florida
Southern College. The exercise will be held at Dahlonega, Georgia over the Thanksgiving
holidays. We wish to depart on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 20 at 3:00 p. m. , which
means those students participating would miss their late Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday classes

Clarification on Coffee Service: Mrs. Snell has reported that again many faculty members are
evidently not paying 10£ per cup for the coffee they drink in the Faculty Lounge. Payment
improved for a period after a recent reminder in the Faculty Bulletin, but has dropped off since
the October General Faculty Meeting. At that meeting there was some discussion of the University providing the coffee for faculty free of charge, but neither Mr. Edmondson nor the
majority of the Faculty Senate understood this to be the agreement reached. Therefore, I am
again urging each faculty member to pay 10£ for each cup of coffee he drinks in the Faculty Lounge
