There will be a special meeting of the Faculty Senate in the Private Dining RoOm at 4:30 p. m.
on Tuesday, October 9. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a special report on faculty
salaries to be brought in by the Welfare Committee. All members of the faculty are cordially
invited.
Please add the following name to the Library Committee for 1973 - 1974: Mike Salinger.
Dr. William C. Johnson's article, "Generative Criticism: A Suggestion for Teaching Literature, " will appear this year in the C E A Critic (College English Association).
Caution: There have been instances already this semester of purses and other valuables being
stolen from offices during office hours. You are urged to be especially watchful and careful
with these valuables.

Mrs. Snell has reported to the Faculty Senate that the money collected in the Faculty Lounge
has not been covering the cost of the coffee and napkins provided there. There are several
possible explanations for this, but one is that some faculty members are forgetting to pay for
their coffee. Please be sure to pay 10£ for each cup of coffee or we may have to raise the
price to 15 £ as it is in the Hat Rack now. /s/ Dr. Ann Morris
Faculty Members and Wives: As part of the Green Feather this year, we are planning a Flea
Market to be held on Sunday, October 28, 1973. We are asking for donations for a Green
Feather Booth in the Market. We are also inviting any member of the Stetson Community to
open a booth. Tables will be provided, if reservations are made before October 24. There
will be a $15. 00 fee for each booth. This will be the participant's only contribution. Any
profits will be your own. We are looking for this Flea Market to be a rousing success and the
prelude to more Markets in the future. For any further information contact: Tom McDonald,
