The Summer Session for 1974 will run from Monday, June 17-Friday, August 9. These dates
represent one week later than those reported in the University Bulletin. The change is necessary
because our Session must correspond with the closing date for the county schools.
When typesetting work is to go through our University Print Shop, please allow ten (10) working
days for the typesetting itself. Additional time will be spent in our Print Shop for the actual
printing and delivery.
A free, open workshop in Learning Disabilities will be held on Saturday, January 26, at the
Daytona Beach Community College, from 9:00 a. m. -4:00 p. m. The workshop is sponsored by
the Volusia Association for Children with Learning Disabilities. The special topics are: 'Working
Academically with Learning Disabled Children" and "Behavior Modification and Socialization. "

Students who entered the University winter term, and students who neglected to pre-register last
November, may now pre-register for spring. They must turn course request cards in to the
Registrar's Office not later than February 1. Pre-registered students who wish to make changes
in their spring schedules may submit corrected schedules to the Registrar's Office by February 1
Changes not made by then must wait until February 18.
