The regular meeting of the Faculty Senate is scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, 1974, in the
Private Dining Room. Dinner is at 6:00 p. m. , and business is at 6:45 p. m. Members of the
Development Office staff and members of the A. A. U. P. Stetson Chapter will meet with the
Senate. I have a standing reservation (I think) for the following: Dr. Morris, Dr. Coolidge,
Dr. DeLap, Dr. Fox, Miss Fuller, Dr. Horton, Dr. Lycan, Dr. Magarian, and Miss Patterson.
If there are corrections to the above list or if your name is not on the list and you want a dinner
reservation, please call Extension 246 or 330 before noon on Monday, February 4.(s/_r_ Grain)
Dr. Evelyn DiTosto, Consultant for Teacher Education in the state university system of
Maryland, will conduct two two-hour workshops for Winter Term faculty and all students
enrolled in W T 198. They will meet in the Intern Lab from 7:30 to 9:00 Monday evening
on February 4 and from 10:00 to 12:00 Tuesday morning on February 5. This workshop
will actively involve participants in the process of value clarification as it relates to living,
learning, and teaching. Dr. DiTosto has worked extensively with groups in this area and
has written extensively on the subject. She will work with us as we clarify our own values
and discuss past and present implications of valuing and personal freedom. We urge you all

The Faculty Senate and University Women's Club is continuing to make plans for the dinner to
honor all trustees, administration, administrative staff and faculty who have served the university for twenty-five years or more. Our "research team" has come up with the following
