There will be a meeting of the General Faculty on Thursday, November 15, in Davis Hall, at
7:00 p. m.
Telephone Directories are ready for distribution, and may be picked up at the Public Relations
Office.
Please make the following corrections in the Faculty and Staff Directory:Mr. A. J. Bowley'shorr
phone number should read 736-3424. Dean Robert S. Chauvin's home address should be 851 Eas
Minnesota.
Steven's Studio, Bangor, Maine, will be sending a photographer to Stetson the last week in
November to take faculty, staff, and administration photos for the yearbook. There will be no
charge for the photos, and one will be furnished for the HATTER. The photos will be taken
November 26 - November 30, from 8:30 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. on each day of that week. Please
call the Hatter office (extension 296) between 1:00 p. m. and 2:00 p. m., Monday through Friday
before November 16 to reserve an appointment time. We hope that having photos taken on
campus (in Room 202, C. U. B. ) will be an added convenience that will also encourage all faculty
staff, and administration to have their photo taken for the 1974 HATTER. Thank you.
Careful consideration has been given to our holiday schedule for Thanksgiving, Christmas and
New Year's. We are pleased to announce the following University schedule of holidays:
Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, November 22
Monday and Tuesday, December 24 - 25, Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day
Monday and Tuesday, December 31 and January 1, New Year's
Eve and New Year's Day
The University is pleased that it is possible to offer our employees this somewhat expanded
holiday schedule, recognizing that Christmas and New Year's Days fall on Tuesday with the
possibility of two very long weekends. IT MUST BE CAREFULLY NOTED THAT THIS IS NOT
TO BE CONSIDERED A PRECEDENT. When the academic calendar is in a different relationship
to New Year's Day it will not be possible for this to be done.
