The regular meeting of the Faculty Senate is scheduled for Tuesday, October 2, 1973, in The
Private Dining Room. Dinner is at 6:00 p. m. , and business is at 6:45 p. m. The agenda
includes the Welfare Committee report on faculty salaries; a reply from Dr. Knapp (Chairman
of Department Heads); appointment of a faculty member to the Traffic Court; further discussion
of the report on Grading Practices; other committee reports; and discussion of other business.
If you wish to make dinner reservations, please call Extension 246 or 330 before noon on
Monday, October 1. Those of you who have permanent reservations need not call.
Please add the following name to the Artists and Lecturers Committee: Dr. Gerald Critoph.
IMPORTANT: Departmental schedules for the spring semester should be submitted to the
Registrar's Office by Thursday, October 4.
REMINDER: The last day for students to drop a course will be Friday, October 5.
Student rosters will be available in the Registrar's Office, Monday, October 1. Please drop
by and pick up one for your office.
FALL BLOOD DRIVE -- Monday, October 1, 9:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m. , C. . U. B. , Stetson
Room. Every year some Stetson families need blood and this is our opportunity to see that
that supply is available.
It is again calendar ordering time. Most desk calendars have a re-order form located
immediately after the page for December 31. Please forward this form, or some other
written communication, to the Bookstore indicating your needs and the proper account
number to be charged. These orders should be in the Bookstore no later than October 10
to insure delivery prior to January 1, 1974.
The Audio-Visual Department has a shortage of movie take-up reels. Any department having
any of these reels, please return them to Audio-Visual.
