Another demonstration of the Test Generator will be given for those who were unable to attend
previously. Time and place: 213 C. U. B. , Friday, November 2, 10:00 a. m.
Dr. John A. Hague and Dr. Gerald E. Critoph have just returned from the American Studies
Association national convention in San Francisco, California, October 18 - October 20, 1973.
Dr. Hague participated in a workshop on alternative education and chaired a panel dealing with
American Studies, Education and the Community College. Dr. Critoph participated in workshops
on undergraduate curriculum and urban studies. As members of the National Executive Council
they both participated in its meeting where Dr. Hague gave a report on the activities of the
National American Studies Faculty. Also attending the meeting were several former Stetson
students: Mr. Phil Drimmel from Daytona Beach Community College, Dr. David Marcell from
Skidmore College, Dr. Bruce Lohof from the University of Miami, Dr. Jay Mechling from the
University of California at Davis, and Mr. James Lea, a NASF Museum Fellow, Chapel Hill,
North Carolina.
The following students attended a Debate and Forensic Tournament the week-end of October 25-
October 28, 1973, at Louisiana Technical University. They were absent from classes on
Thursday and Friday: Mark Collins, Bobby Rowe, Mike Duduit, Deborah Stokes, Marcia
Timmell, Charles Higgins.
