NOTICE: Commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, May 27, in the Forest of Arden.
Baccalaureate will be at 8:00 a. m., the line-of-march forming at 7:30. Graduation will be
at 7:00 p. m. , the line-of-march forming at 6:30. All faculty members are reminded that
they are expected to attend unless officially excused. In case of rain, both services will be
held in the First Baptist Church. .
Reminder: Thursday, May 24, 8:00 a. m. , is the deadline for senior grades to be in the
Registrar's office. It would be most helpful if your senior grades could be submitted
Wednesday afternoon, if possible. Your cooperation in this matter is earnestly solicited.
Please do not leave town before these grades are in the Registrar's hands.
Two members of the Education Department have been honored by their election to the highest
office in the State in their respective fields. Dr. George Hood is the new President of the
Florida Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Dr. Richard Morland is the
President-Elect of the Florida Council of Deans and Directors of Teacher Education.
Changes to be incorporated in the 1974 - 1976 catalog must be received by Dr. Langford no
later than October 23, 1973. Much of the catalog work will be done during the summer of
1973, so if you know of changes to be made please send them to Box 1305 now. Late changes
in September and early October of this year will cause a bottleneck, and your help in making
early changes is greatly appreciated.

U. S. government grants under the Fulbright-Hays Act are now being accepted for university
lecturing and advanced research during the 1974 - 1975 academic year. Applications need to
be made prior to July 1, 1973. Information on openings in the following areas (number of
countries in parenthesis) is available from Dr. Beiler, Extension 253, 347 or Box 1271.
