NOTICE TO INSTRUCTORS:

Winter term grades are due in the Registrar's Office by 8:00 a. m.
When registering students on February 12, faculty members are reminded of the non-credit,
reading improvement course that Mrs. Paul Brunk will be giving on Monday and Wednesday
afternoons at 1:30 p. m. Fast, average, and slow readers all can benefit, for the course is
designed to meet the individual needs of the students. The mean increase in the reading rates
was 99% for those who participated last semester. The increase in comprehension was 18%
on standardized tests. Attention is also given to studying for tests, study habits, and
abstracting materials for term papers. There is a fee of $35.00 for the course. (The $35.00
fee is in addition to the regular tuition.) Additional information may be obtained from the
Education Office.
Department of Psychology: Dr. Jay Ludvigh's article, "Effects of Specific Cue Content or Need
for Achievement Scores, "' will be published in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Personality
Assessment.
