The annual revision of the Faculty Handbook is underway. Members of the faculty and staff
are requested to check those sections they are particularly concerned with and to suggest any
changes necessary. Please send suggestions to Dr. Bryan Gillespie, Box 1341, or contact
any other member of the Committee: Dr. Rollin Armour, Mr. Richard Feasel, Dr. E. C.
Coolidge.
There will be a meeting of the Departmental Chairmen on Thursday, April 19 at 4:00 p. m. , in
Room 313, Elizabeth Hall.
Stetson University in cooperation with several other colleges in the state, has received a grant
from the National Science Foundation to support a remote computer terminal on this campus.
The primary purpose of the terminal is to encourage computer usage in curriculum development.
To acquaint the faculty in the facility, there will be three days of demonstration, April 10 -
April 12, 1973.
The Orientation schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, April 10 - The Social Sciences
Mr. Samuel Foster - 3:00 p. m.
Wednesday, April 11 - The Humanities
Dr. Edward Settgast - 9:00 a. m. and 2:00 p. m.
Thursday, April 12 - The Sciences and Mathematics
Dr. Gene W. Medlin - 8:15 a. m. and 2:00 p. m.
All Orientation services will take place in Room 204 - 205, Carlton Union Building. After a
brief introduction, the group will go to the terminal which is located in Room 213, Carlton
Union Building.
In order to expedite the mail services, an up-to-date listing of office personnel is most important.
Several offices have not sent this list to the Campus Post Office. Please do so at your earliest
convenience. Thank you.
The following student attended a Debate and Forensic Tournament the week of March 26 -
March 30, at the University of Nebraska; Mark Cleeland.
