IMPORTANT NOTICE: Two important meetings have been scheduled for all budget supervisors
and their property custodians. The meetings will be held on March 21 from 1:30 to 2:30 p. m.
and on March 22 from 2:00 to 3:00 p. m. in Rooms 204-205 CUB. All budget supervisors and
property custodians are strongly requested to attend one of the two meetings.
Congratulations to Mrs. Sara Jernigan. Her book, co-authored with C. Lynn Vendien of the
University of Massachusetts, has just been published by McGraw-Hill Book Company. It is
entitled Playtime: A World Recreation Handbook.
Professor Frances Buxton of the School of Music will give a faculty recital of music composed
for the unaccompanied violin on Tuesday, March 21, in Elizabeth Hall, at 8:00 p. m.
The Commons will be closed for Spring break, March 31-April 9. Anyone interested in
entertaining those students who will be remaining on campus during this time is urged to
get in touch with the B. C. M. Office, Extension 210, or write a note c/o Campus Box 762.
The following students missed classes all day Monday, March 13, to participate in a tennis
match at Tampa, Florida, and on Thursday, March 16, from 1:00 p. m. , for a match with
Embry Riddle University: Mike Lehahan, Pete Kuchar, Fred Hays, Steve Fraytes, Kevin
McDowell, Jim Sorensen, Rick Beckwith, and Tom Angle.
Lucy McDaniel has been invited to become an active member in the Delta Kappa Gamma Society
Alpha Mu Chapter, International Honor Society for Women Educators.
