Dr. William Jackson, a mathematician from Detroit Institute of Technology, will give three
lectures on Densities and Recursive Functions. These talks will be delivered Wednesday,
Thursday, Friday, January 19, 20, 21 from 10:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon in Elizabeth Hall,
Room 321. Friday's talk will be in the form of a philosophical debate between Dr. Jackson
and Mr. McCabe and should prove interesting to non-mathematicians.
The following students were absent from 10:45 on Friday, January 7th, to play basketball in
