The Faculty Senate will meet in the Private Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building at
6:45 p. m. , on Tuesday, February 1, 1972. Dinner will be at 6:00 p. m. Reservations
should be made in advance with Dr. Elsie Minter. All Faculty Senate meetings are open
to the members of the Faculty.
The following students missed classes on Thursday and Friday, January 27 and 28 in order
to attend a Debate Tournament at West Georgia College, Carrolton, Georgia: Deborah Stokes;
Ann Insley; Bob Manuel; Mark Cleeland; Randy Klein; and Pete Hooper.
The Stetson University Orchestra under the direction of Geoffrey Gilbert will give a concert
in Elizabeth Hall on Friday, February 4, at 8:00 p. m. Included in the program will be the
Brandenberg Concerto No. 4 by Bach in which the soloists will be William Martin; Peggy
Stinson; Deborah Clifton; and Dr. Robert Forte.
