Incomplete Grades: Instructors who have grades to report for made-up incompletes are
reminded that those grades received in the Registrar's Office by May 23 will be recorded on
the student's spring grade report. Grades reported after May 23 will be recorded on the
next grade report.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that the following new colleagues have signed contracts
for next year :
Dr. Jesse L. Berry, Assistant Professor of Foreign Languages. Dr. Berry has the B. A.
degree from the College of William and Mary, and the Ph. D. degree from Vanderbilt
University. Dr. Berry has also studied at the University of Vienna, the University of
Tubingen, and the University of Uppsala in Sweden. He taught at Vanderbilt, Virginia
Military Institute, and comes to us after serving at Washington and Lee University as an
assistant professor. We might add that his wife is a native of Vienna, Austria, and has the
master's degree from Harvard University and Ph.D. 's from the University of Vienna and
from Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Rob Brady, Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Dr. Brady has the B. A. degree from the
University of California at Berkeley, the S. T. M. degree from Harvard University, and the
Ph. D. degree from Claremont University. In addition to his work in philosophy, Dr. Brady
has worked for two years setting up the computer analysis system for the Banks of America
in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Elek J. Ludvigh, Assistant Professor of Psychology. Dr. Ludvigh has the B. A. degree
from the University of Michigan and the M. A. and Ph. D. degrees from Michigan State
University.
Dr. Jerry Cardwell, Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Sociology.
Dr. Cardwell has the B. A. degree from the University of Alabama, the M. A. degree
from the University of Maine, and the Ph. D. from the University of Utah. Dr. Cardwell
has published a text book through McGraw-Hill and has two more ready for publication. He
has served on the faculties at Auburn, Maine, VPI and Utah.
We feel it is a great privilege, indeed, to welcome these scholars to the Stetson academic
community. ^^^
