The Parents' Weekend Cochairmen hope that all faculty and administrative officers have
received their letters concerning Parents' Weekend, March 17, 18, and 19. All faculty
are cordially invited and urged to attend as many functions as possible. Parents are
eager to meet you.
Spring Blood Drive - Monday, March 13, from 9:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m. If you can give blood,
please come to the Stetson Room any time during these hours. Whether or not you can give
blood, we hope it will be clear to your students and colleagues that you consider this an
important cause.
In order to connect with the new mail schedules of the U. S. Postal Service, effective with the
issuance of this Faculty Bulletin, the last outgoing campus mail pick-ups will be between 4:00
and 4:15 p. m. Outgoing U. S. mail requiring metered postage must be in the Post Office no
later than 4:15 p. m. for dispatch to the DeLand Post Office. Please note carefully that mail
deposited after 4:15 p. m. at the campus post office and after 5:00 p. m. at the downtown main
post office will not leave DeLand until the following morning. There is no longer any night
dispatch of mails.
Faculty members are strongly requested to observe class times. Our colleagues and students
suffer inconveniences when we fail to abide by the class schedules.
