Dr. Bryan Gillespie has been appointed Chairman of the Publications Board for
1971-72.
Dr. John Evans has been elected as representative to the Faculty Senate from the
Social Science Division for 1971-74.
Dr. Edwin Coolidge has been appointed Chairman of the Faculty Senate Educational
Policies Committee.
Dr. David Stock of the Biology Department, published the following paper on conjunction
withS.H. Black, Department of Microbiology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston,
Texas: "Meiosis in Hansenula holstii and H. wingei, " Journal of General Microbiology.
We welcome Mr. Joel C. Wright of the Department of Sociology, Iowa State University,
Ames, Iowa. He joins our faculty as Assistant Professor of Sociology.
