DR. EARL JOINER was honored at a luncheon in Tallahassee on May 3, 1971, where
he received an award for his research and writing to preserve Florida Baptist History.
The award was presented at the fourth annual awards luncheon of the Everardus
Boardus Chapter, Colonial DamesXVII Century.
NOTICE: Commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, May 30, in the Forest of
Arden. Baccalaureate will be at 8 :00 a.m. , Line of March forming at 7:30 a.m.
Graduation will be at 7:00 p.m. , Line of March forming at 6:30 p.m. All faculty
members are reminded that they are expected to attend unless officially excused.
In the event of rain, both services will be held in the First Baptist Church.
