All offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26, in honor of Thanksgiving. Regular
office hours resume on Friday, November 27.
Please Note: The examination schedule as published in the Faculty Bulletin, Week of
October 19, must be honored. No examinations may be rescheduled without approval
from the appropriate academic dean.
The following students were absent from classes on November 19 and 20 to attend a
debate tournament at the Southern Connecticut College in New Haven, Connecticut:
Chobeen Ebbets; Sharon Beasley.
The following students were absent from classes on November 20 to attend a debate
tournament at Wake-Forest University: Bob Bugg; Anne Insley.
A fair number of Fulbright lecturing and research opportunities are still available for
1971-72, as well as appointments under NATO and SEATO fellowships. Lectureships
are available in biology, chemistry, economics, business administration, education,
geology, history , humanities, linguistics, literature, mathematics, physics, and
psychology. Travel-only grants are available for research in Israel. If interested,
