Dr. T. W. . Beiler. Chairman of the Department of Chemistry, is pleased to make the following announcement concerning two of his pre-med students:
Mr. Lyle Wadsworth has been accepted at Tulane, Bowman-Cray, and the
University of Miami.Medical Schools.
Mr. Jerome Adams has been accepted by the University of South Florida,
Meharry, and the University of Miami Medical Schools.
Professor Nicholas Alssenwas in Memphis, Tennessee, October 29-31, attending the annual
meeting of the South Central Modern Languages Association. Professor Als.sen chaired a
Section program and presented a paper entitled "A Report of Rhythmic Intonation in A.N.
Tolstoi's Novel. "
The Women's Intramural Board is sponsoring a bike hike Sunday. November 7. Some of
the students need bicycles. If you have one or two bikes you would be willing to loan for
that day, please contact Mrs. Thwing in the Women's Gym, Fxtension 269.
The 1970-71 telephone directories for Faculty and Staff have been printed and distribution
has begun. Extra copies are available at the Public Relations office. Please make the following corrections in your copy of the directory:
