ATTENTION ALL FACULTY: Please inform all junior students in the Humanities Division
that the Harry L. Taylor prize is available to juniors. This prize pays complete tuition for
the student's senior year and includes an additional $250 cash award. In order to be eligible
for this prize, students must be members of the junior class who have completed two years
of undergraduate work at Stetson with an average grade of "B" or higher, who are majoring
in some field of the Humanities, or who have a strong interest in the Humanities. Interested
students should meet with Mr. Braxton in the language laboratory, Sampson Hall, Monday,
March 16, at 6:30 p.m.
The Stetson Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa is in the process of trying to up-date its records.
If you are a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, active or inactive, please call the Dean of Men's

Mr. Ned Ruby, a major in Biology, presented a paper entitled, "P-32 Tracer Study of Trophic
Relationship in the Water Hyacinth Community, " at the 34th annual meeting of the Florida
Academy of Science, which met at Jacksonville University, March 5-7. This paper resulted
from research conducted last summer under the University's NSF College Science Improvement
Program Grant. Congratulations to Ned!
The following students missed classes Tuesday, March 10, through Friday, March 13, to participate in the NCAA College Division Basketball Championship games in Evansville, Indiana.
