The annual meeting of Stetson University's Credit Union was adjourned until 4:00 p.m. , Monday
January 26, in rooms 204 and 205, Carlton Union Building. The meeting of January 15 was
adjourned until this new date due to a lack of a quorum. Request all members of this Credit
Union be in attendance for this annual meeting in order to elect new members to the Board.
Don't allow just a few members elect and decide the fate of your Credit Union.
The below named ROTC cadets were absent from the University from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ,
January 14, 1970, for the purpose of having physical examinations at the Armed Forces Exam
and Entrance Station, Jacksonville, Florida.
George E. Jeandheur, Dick D. Mahaffey, Donald R. Mouring, Gregory B. Padgett,
James W. Ritter, Jack E. Shields, David T. Williams.
Mr. Robert Gawley has received a $3, 000 assistantship from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill for work toward the Ph. D in Chemistry.
There is a grave need for shoes for children in the DeLand area. If you have some which you
would like to donate to the Neighborhood Center for distribution please contact Gary Maris,
ext. 234 or drop in at "the Center", corner of Clara and Voorhis.
The Woodrow Wilson selection committee invited two Stetson students for interview, Miss Elizabeth Barnes (Russian) and Miss Cecile Pye (Psychornetrics); a third, Don Yates (English),
will be interviewed overseas, where he is spending his senior year. For purposes of comparison it may be noted that Rollins sent 3 to interview, University of Florida, 7, Florida Presbyterian, 7, and New College, 9.
